The craft beer market in Brazil in 2026 is experiencing a different phase from the explosion of recent years. After the Neipas fever and the incessant search for novelties, the sector begins to show signs of maturity. The breweries are more professional, have the most demanding consumers, and have the most diverse flavors. The fashion of super muddy and fruity recipes gives way to classic styles, such as pilsners, lagers, and stouts, which once again gain prominence.

At the same time, interest in local and sustainable ingredients grows. Brazilian fruits, regional spices, and differentiated inputs help to create identity and bring the public closer to the national gastronomic culture. The consumer is no longer impressed with flashy labels: he seeks quality, authenticity, and experiences. Taprooms, festivals, and harmonizations have become meeting points, and brewing tourism begins to consolidate in cities with a tradition of production.

In the global scenario, the beer sector should move almost 770 billion dollars in 2026, and Brazil follows this movement with a more moderate growth, a sign that the market is consolidating. This does not mean fewer opportunities, but new challenges: competition is fierce, the public is more informed and innovation needs to be constant for a brand to remain relevant.

Craft beer is no longer just a fashion and establishes itself as part of Brazilian culture. More than a product, it becomes an experience that connects people, values traditions, and makes room for creativity.
